Frameless Windshield (top) would be incredible. No more ducking my head or straining to see over the top...

I agree. One of those concept things I don’t get why they can’t do. Spyker did it so it’s feasible. Is it really so expensive that nobody else can pull it off?

I think getting it to actually function properly as an attachment point is the problem rather than the cost.
The frameless Spyker doesn’t have a built in soft top so it’s basically a permanent convertible. You can find images of a removable top which looks absolutely flimsy and ridiculous and I doubt would ever get used by any owner.
It’s not a problem for low volume weekend cars but imagine this being your only roof option on a standard production car like the Miata — it would never sell.
Spykers with folding soft tops don’t have frameless glass.

That’s a very good point. I do suspect they could make it work - some firm clasps on the pillars and a nice rubber seal in between. But perhaps not.
